Glam You is designed for visual exploration, not profiling, tracking, or advertising.

1. What Glam You Does (Context)

Glam You lets users:

  • choose a reference makeup look,
  • take a selfie,
  • receive an AI-generated preview of that look applied to their face,
  • optionally save or share results.

Glam You does not sell products, provide professional advice, or make decisions about you.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to operate the App.

2.1 Images You Provide

When you use Glam You, you may provide:

  • Selfie images (captured via camera)
  • Generated preview images (AI outputs)

These images are used only to generate the preview you requested.

We do not:

  • analyze identity,
  • identify you as a person,
  • infer sensitive attributes,
  • perform face recognition.

2.2 Device Information

We collect limited technical information:

  • anonymous device identifier (generated by the App)
  • operating system and app version
  • basic error and performance logs

This data is used for:

  • app functionality
  • debugging
  • preventing abuse

We do not track users across apps or websites.

2.3 Subscription & Usage Data

If you subscribe to the Pro plan, we collect and process:

  • subscription status (free or Pro)
  • subscription start and end dates
  • try-on usage count (to enforce usage limits)
  • billing cycle information

Payment information:

  • All payments are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
  • We do not collect, store, or process credit card numbers, bank details, or other payment credentials
  • We only receive confirmation of subscription status from the app store

2.4 What We Do Not Collect

We do not collect:

  • names
  • email addresses (unless voluntarily provided for support)
  • phone numbers
  • precise location
  • biometric identifiers
  • advertising identifiers
  • social media data
  • payment card information

No user accounts are required.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your data strictly to:

  • Generate AI-based makeup previews you request
  • Display results inside the App
  • Allow you to save previews locally or within the App
  • Manage and enforce subscription plans and usage limits
  • Process and verify in-app purchases through app stores
  • Track try-on usage to enforce free and Pro plan limits
  • Improve app stability and performance
  • Prevent misuse and ensure security

We do not:

  • use your data for advertising
  • sell your data
  • build user profiles
  • train public AI models with your images

4. AI Processing & Image Handling

4.1 How AI Is Used

When you request a preview:

  • your selfie image and selected reference image are sent securely to an AI system,
  • the system generates a new image showing the look applied to your face,
  • the result is returned to the App.

4.2 AI Training

Your images are not used to train:

  • public AI models
  • general machine-learning datasets

AI processing is performed only to deliver your requested output.

4A. Face Data

Glam You collects and processes face data solely to provide our virtual makeup try-on service.

What Face Data We Collect

  • Facial images from selfies you capture within the App
  • AI-generated images showing makeup looks applied to your face

We do not extract or store facial geometry, biometric identifiers, or facial recognition data.

How Face Data Is Used

Your face data is used exclusively to generate visual previews of makeup looks applied to your face. We do not use face data for facial recognition, identity verification, advertising, or profiling.

Face Data Sharing

Your face data is processed by Google Cloud Platform solely to generate your makeup preview. We do not sell or share your face data with any other third parties.

Face Data Retention

  • Saved looks containing your face data are retained until you request deletion.

5. Data Storage & Retention

5.1 Storage

Images and related data are stored securely using:

  • Render.com (application hosting)
  • Google Cloud Platform (infrastructure and AI processing)

These providers act as data subprocessors under strict contractual and security obligations.

5.2 Retention

  • Selfies and generated images are retained only as long as necessary to provide the service.
  • Saved looks remain available to you unless you delete them.
  • Subscription and usage data are retained for the duration of your subscription and as required for legal and accounting purposes (typically up to 7 years after subscription ends).
  • We may automatically delete inactive data after a reasonable period.
  • You can delete saved previews at any time within the App.

6. Sharing of Data

We share data only with:

6.1 Subprocessors

  • Render.com – application hosting and backend services
  • Google Cloud Platform – secure infrastructure and AI processing
  • Apple App Store / Google Play Store – payment processing and subscription management

These providers:

  • process data only on our instructions
  • are contractually bound to confidentiality and security

Note: Payment data is handled exclusively by Apple or Google. We never receive or store your payment information.

6.2 Legal Obligations

We may disclose information if required by law or valid legal request.

We never sell personal data.

7. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed on servers located outside your country of residence.

Where required by law, we rely on:

  • standard contractual clauses
  • appropriate safeguards under GDPR

8. Your Rights (GDPR & Similar Laws)

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • access your data
  • request deletion
  • restrict processing
  • object to processing

Glam You is not intended for children under 13.

No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
